Switching to artificial grass has been by far the best house project for me this year. While many may think that natural beats artificial, it comes down to a personal opinion. If you are a very meticulous person with the appearance of your home going green is the way to go! You will have the best looking lawn regardless of the season. When my neighbor noticed that my front yard was being ripped out he seemed shocked as it still had potential. When I told him what I was doing he didn't seem amused by the idea. That's until he saw it installed. I'm not sure what he was imagining but let me tell you this stuff look SOOOO REAL! When I met with FENIX they offered me 4-5 different types of turf that would fit my landscaping. I decided on the "longest hair" that looks most realistic with yellow roots at the bottom to really make people second guess if it's real or not. So far- it works every time!!! "The house with the perfect lawn" I'll take it.
I have already saved 30-40% on my water bill. This will add up to thousands over the years and eventually pay for itself. Artificial tuff is made to last 20+ years. No need to re-seed, fertilize, etc.
I shopped around for about two months before making this few thousands dollar purchase and found FENIX to be the most professional and have the best quality. Although they aren't local they service the entire Central Valley and will come give you a free quote in a timely manner. Installation took less than 6 hours.
P.S -Nobody lost their job with this switch. My landscaper will continue to service my yard for my plants + shrubs, just much less often and less work of course.
